The Windy City, hot summer weather, Lake Michigan and the skyline should be enough to lure a big time free agent to Chicago this upcoming off-season, but who will that be?

Dwayne Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh are at the top of everyone's Christmas list this summer, but will any of them grant Chicago's wish? The people in Chicago are certainly hoping and so is Chicago Bulls superstar, Derrick Rose. Rose said in an interview during the NBA All-Star's weekend that he talked to James, Bosh and Wade.

"I told them all that we would love to have them in Chicago. Chicago is a great place to play and the market is unbelievable," said Rose.

The Chicago Bulls should listen to their superstar and bring him some help because he is the only threat on the team that scares opponents. Small forward Luol Deng is a good player, but he is a perimeter orientated forward. He doesn't demand double teams and if he's having a bad shooting night, then life for Rose becomes a nightmare.

This season, Rose is averaging 20.3 points per game with 5.7 assists and 3.8 rebounds. Rose is also logging in 37 minutes a game, He has the Bulls positioned in the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference and they have a chance to finish in the fifth spot by season's end, but the Bulls will have to play much better against sub-.500 teams down the stretch.

The Bulls will be in the top four seeding in the Eastern Conference for years to come if they manage to acquire one of the big named agents. Other free agents this summer will be: Joe Johnson, Rudy Gay, Ray Allen, David Lee, Carlos Boozer and Tracy McGrady.

There are a few individuals with player or early termination options, which means they can tear up current contracts to get new ones or go out and test the free agent market. Those players are Dirk Nowitzki, Paul Pierce, Kobe Bryant and Amar'e Stoudemire. I full expect all of those players to remain with their current teams except for Stoudemire, who was almost moved to Cleveland prior to the trading deadline.
