Natural gas near clubhouse

University Police, on patrol at Founders' Woods at 1:15 a.m., smelled a strong odor of natural gas near the clubhouse. Unable to determine the source of the gas, officers summoned Nicor emergency crews who arrived at approximately 1:44 a.m.
Once the issue was resolved, officers filed a work order with Campus Services to check remaining gas mains in the Founders' Woods complex.
