A talented quarterback, an aging offensive line and not a star receiver in sight could be the reasons why it has taken the Chicago Bears so long to hire an offensive coordinator. This past Saturday, the Benedictine men's basketball team lost a highly contested basketball game to Rockford College on Hall of Fame day, 70-60. The first five minutes of the game went back and forth as it was tied at 6-6, but afterwards Rockford College, (10-10, 5-7) began to go on a 14-2 run before junior forward, Terry Licht ended the run on a low post basket. Bren, Lady  Eagles Extend  Winning Streak to Four

While much of Saturday afternoon was spent inducting the Class of 2010 honorees into the Benedictine University Hall of Fame, the Lady Eagles basketball team was determined to take care of business by defeating Rockford College 76-60 and continuing their march towards a Northern Athletics Conference Tournament bid. That time of year is here. The time for everyone - sports fan or not - to gather together and watch one of the biggest spectacles in all of sports: the Superbowl. On Sunday, Feb. 7, Peyton Manning of the Indianapolis Colts and Drew Brees of the New Orleans Saints will try to lead their teams to the coveted Lombardi Trophy. (0) comments
