When a bike rider decides to leave the safety offered by trails and enter the realm of suburban traffic, he entrusts his life to his own caution and any motorists that he may encounter. The Village of Lisle provides a nice network of bike trails, through several parks scattered throughout the town, offering any recreational cyclists a chance to escape into nature. (2) comments

I always answer the question, "What do you do in your spare time?" honestly. You see, I'm a gamer and I'm proud of it, so I usually respond as such. I'm a geek at heart, so why try and cover it up? What differs during the conversation about the different leisure activities we participate in, however, is the response I get from someone who doesn't share the same passion. (0) comments

Most people see bicycling as a sport, a hobby or a way to get exercise. But what about those who see it as their main form of transportation? According to CBS News, on January 29, 2010 Scott Roeder was found guilty of first-degree murder. This happened after a judge had allowed Roeder's defense to argue Roeder be convicted on manslaughter. A first-degree murder conviction comes with a mandatory sentence of life in prison, with parole available after 25 years, according to "The Kansas City Star". (0) comments

Current college students are developing more skills that in no way relate to their coursework during class time. This new skill allows them to send email or text messages, check the latest news, gossip and game scores, update their Facebook and twitter pages, all while sitting in class and pretending to listen during lectures; pretty amazing, huh?
